- Yes! This procedure is completely external and safe to be performed if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How often can I have it done?

MICRONEEDLING FAQ’S

How often can I have microneedling?

- We would recommend having microneedling every 4-6 weeks and at least 3 treatments to see long term results

Is it painful?

- No, most clients state that microneedling is a strange tingling sensation but very few will experience mild discomfort.

What’s the difference between a Dermaroller and a Dermapen?

- A Dermaroller is a small wheel covered in tiny needles, when rolled across the skin it causes tiny points of trauma which encourage the regeneration of collagen and elastin. This is the traditional method of microneedling and is much quicker for a full face treatment. The same process can be performed with a Dermapen which is a small cluster of needles, the benefit of using a Dermapen is that it is more precise due to its small application head and the depth of penetration can be varied depending upon discomfort or the desired area to be treated.

SKIN PEEL FAQ’S

- Is this process harmful to my skin?

No, the glycolic skin peel is an EU regulated formula which is not tested on animals. It contains AHA 40 which is a very controlled dose of glycolic acid.

- What are the benefits?

Exfoliating peels can help to improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven skin tone and texture, and has been shown to decrease uneven pigmentation and photo damage.

- Why is it better than using an over the counter exfoliator?

Facial scrubs can cause inflammation and sensitivities as they are too abrasive for the skin’s surface, skin peels are a more natural alternative as they can penetrate the skin barrier to work at a cellular level without causing damage.
